Pablo Montero is nowadays one of the most popular singers. During his 10-year artistic career, he has recorded five albums and 5 soap operas.
This spontaneous and talented singer is 31 years old, considers that the best way of expressing himself is with a guitar and with the magical language of music.
Pablo’s main goal was to internationalize himself, this way people from around the world would know what Mexican music really is. In 1999 he recorded his first international album, “Donde Estas Corazón”, its single has the same name. The same year, Pablo receives the prize of PREMIOS LO NUESTRO for “Revelación Regional Mexicana”, he also won a prize of GLOBO for “Revelación Ranchera” and EL GALARDON FAMA for “Best Album of the year”.
In the year 2000 he recorded his second album “Que Voy a Hacer Sin Ti” that has a mixing between Mexican beats, with the nostalgic sound of violins, percussions, and trumpets. The single for this album had the same name “Que Voy a Hacer Sin Ti”. This year he also won the prize of FURIA MUSICAL for “Revelación Ranchera.”
Even though his real passion is the music, his performances in different soap operas have been very representative in his artistic career. Thanks to the great public acceptance the soap operas “Vivo Por Elena”, and “Nunca Te Olvidare”, he appears as the protagonist in “Abrazame Muy Fuerte”, he won the prize for “Mejor Actor de Reparto” of the magazine TV & NOVELAS. He also participated in “Entre el amor y el odio” and finally “Rebecca”.
In the year 2002, he recorded an album entitled “Pídemelo Todo”, which contains 12 inedited songs, “boleros” and “rancheros” where he mixes new beats, with his original style: Meixan music.
In the year 2003 Pablo Montero achieves his dream of immortalizing Javier Solis and recorded “Gracias...Homenaje a Javier Solís”. A well recognized tribute to “The King of Bolero Ranchero”. In this production, the original details were respected, this way the most beautiful songs of all times can be known for different generations.
Pablo Montero is considered a prophet in his country. He has taken his music to China, and the U.S.A, when he offered a concert for president Bush in the White House, for the celebrations of May 5th.
